It's Extravaganza time again!
Twenty years of ice fishing for a great cause!
Here's your invitation to celebrate Lake Country winter at the Brainerd Jaycees $150,000 Ice Fishing Extravaganza. For two decades, the Jaycees have conducted this event. All proceeds go to local charities.
When: 12 - 3 p.m. Saturday, January 23, 2010
Where: Hole in the Day Bay, Gull Lake, near Nisswa, Minnesota
Ticket Information: Entry fee is $45; no refunds will be given. Tickets purchased online or postmarked January 13-17, 2010, need to be picked up at the Will Call window of the Information Booth at center ice. After January 17, 2010, tickets must be purchased at local outlets or on the ice the day of the event.
This year's Extravaganza will feature two additional events:
• The official kick-off party, "Party with the Pros!" on Friday, January 22, from 5:30 - 9 p.m. at Grandview Lodge in Nisswa, Minnesota.
• For the kids, the free Extravaganza Youth Ice Fishing Olympics, held on Center Ice during the main event, from 10:30 a.m. to 12 noon, on Saturday.
