Lake Country is X-treme!

Lake Country continues its Winter X excellence with two athletes bringing home gold medals in the recent XIV Games in Aspen, Colorado.
Levi Lavalle of Longville, Minnesota, has become a familiar face at the X Games. In 2010, he brought home a gold medal in Snowmobile Knockout and a bronze in Snowmobile Best Trick. He was featured in Lake Country Journal Magazine in January/February 2009, "Living a Dream."
But this year, another Lake Country native
—Mike Schultz of Pillager, Minnesota—struck gold. Mike won the first-ever X Games Adaptive SnoCross Race, barely a year after losing his leg in a snowmobile racing accident.
