Explore the lakes, islands, and shorelines of Minnesota’s only national park. This trip is designed for people with some canoeing and camping experience and will focus on improving existing skills and enjoying the beautiful scenery. The first day involves review of canoeing, portaging, and camping skills. After that, we set out to explore the rarely touched areas of the nation’s most water-based national park. Learn and expand your knowledge of canoe travel, back country camping and cooking, and the natural history of the area. Paddle, swim, relax, and experience a great north woods adventure!
