COMPUTER CORNER: Digital TV Run-Around
At midnight on February 17, 2009, television stations across the United States will change from broadcasting in analog to digital broadcasting. If you currently receive your television signal through an antenna or “rabbit ears,” you will have three options:
- Keep your analog TV and buy a converter box.
- Pay for cable, satellite, or other TV service.
- Buy a new TV with a digital tuner.
Deciding what’s best for you is probably more complicated than it sounds—but Minnesota’s 4-Hers are here to help. Minnesota 4-H created teams of youth and adults across the state to help people just like you understand your options and make the change. Just click here to find a 4-H team near you.
